Island Cottage Details

Island Cottage is the real thing, an original period cottage, and are full of charm.  The cottage has existed for many centuries on the West Mersea Coast Road just a stones throw from the beach and waterside with wifi.  Downstairs there is a lovely sitting room with seating for 4 and Freeview TV also a dining table for 4 persons Also here is a bathroom with bath, washbasin and wc.  Stairs lead to 2 bedrooms - a double and twin with two 2'6" beds (suitable for children and most adults)

The garden or patio is large with a terrace dining table and chairs. Sorry no pets.

The kitchen includes a cooker and a hob, microwave, washing machine, toaster and kettle plus all the crockery, glasses and utensils needed for 4 people.

Free parking and wifi included at property.

You can happily spend a weekend or week on the island as there as lots of shops, delis, cafes and restaurants plus of course the beach, sailing and walks.  If you want to travel further places to visit include Dedham, Flatford Mill (Constable Country), Malden, Manningtree, Colchester, Wivenhoe and many more villages. Even the Suffolk coast is only a one hour drive making visits to Woodbridge, Aldeborough and Southwold a delightful day out.
